About the role#
This internship focuses on marketing coordination and tactical implementation for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. You will work with the marketing department to assist, coordinate, and carry out integrated marketing efforts for the convention and other campaigns.
What you'll do#
- Implement AirVenture-related marketing plans.
- Conduct research and produce project briefs and metric reports.
- Write, edit, and proofread various materials like e-newsletters, web content, advertising copy, and brochures.
- Collaborate with creative and digital media teams to meet project requirements.
- Cold call and negotiate to secure radio ad trades.
- Support marketing staff during the AirVenture convention with logistics and special events.
- Participate in team brainstorming and task coordination.
- Follow safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including good judgment, honesty, and integrity.

Location & details#
- Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
- This is an on-site, paid, part-time position with a rolling term.
- The role involves a typical office setting, with occasional requirements to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods during event preparation.
About EAA
The Experimental Aircraft Association is a nonprofit organization based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
