About the role#
The Convention Intern provides administrative support to the Convention Administration Department. You will work with the team to ensure orders are ready for distribution to AirVenture staff and volunteer groups. This position requires a professional attitude and involves direct interaction with members, volunteers, and staff.
What you'll do#
- Prepare vehicle passes and count admission passes for various areas of AirVenture operations.
- Log pass data into Excel and the data warehouse.
- Answer inquiries from attendees, members, and staff via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist volunteer chairpersons and EAA staff with requests before and during the event.
- Follow safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment.
- Support the EAA mission.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Prior experience with Excel is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Skill in interacting tactfully and pleasantly with others.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule before and during AirVenture.
- Ability to stand, sit, or bend for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
- The role is on-site.
- This position follows a rolling term.
