About the role#
The EAA Aviation Foundation is a charitable organization that raises money to support education, advocacy, and outreach programs. As a WomenVenture Intern, you will help the Foundation team prepare for and execute the experience for donors during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. You will also assist in planning formal fundraising events like The Gathering.
What you'll do#
- Provide clerical support for the Aviation Foundation, including answering phones, managing supplies, data entry, and filing.
- Deliver hospitality for donors during AirVenture by greeting guests, checking out golf carts, and fulfilling requests.
- Assist with donor events, including set-up, registration, and clean-up for PHP receptions, The Gathering, the Memorial Wall, and Foundation raffles.
- Support the EAA mission and maintain safe workplace practices.
What you'll need#
- Current student majoring in Nonprofit Management, Human Services, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
- Solid time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Credibility, good judgment, honesty, and integrity.
- Initiative to solve problems with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with the fundraising process and event planning is preferred.
- Ability to learn and use new technologies.
- Polished networking skills.

About EAA
