About the role#
The EAA Aviation Foundation is the charitable organization that supports education, advocacy, and outreach programs. As an intern, you will help the Foundation team prepare and execute experiences for donors during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. You will also assist in planning formal fundraising events like The Gathering.
What you'll do#
- Provide clerical support including data entry, filing, packet assembly, writing auction descriptions, and research projects.
- Deliver hospitality to donors during AirVenture by greeting guests, checking out golf carts, and fulfilling requests.
- Support donor events, which may include set-up, registration, and clean-up for functions such as receptions, The Gathering, and memorial activities.
- Support the EAA mission and maintain safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment.
What you'll need#
- Current student majoring in Nonprofit Management, Human Services, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- Ability to generate clear, persuasive verbal and written communications.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to solve problems with a positive attitude.
- Credibility, good judgment, and honesty.
- Ability to work effectively in a changing environment and deliver work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of the fundraising process and event planning is preferred.
- Ability to learn and use new technologies.
- Polished networking skills.

About EAA
