About the role#
We are looking for an Audio Visual Intern to support our video production needs. This is a part-time, paid position based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You will work on projects for marketing, publications, our website, social media, and DVD sales.
What you'll do#
- Capture video for marketing materials, publications, and events like AirVenture.
- Organize and archive video assets in our databases.
- Enter metadata for files so they are easy to find later.
- Edit video projects following EAA standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment and support the EAA mission.
What you'll need#
- You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Experience with video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere.
- Proficiency with video cameras and microphone operation.
- Strong digital file organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a creative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: Part-time, on-site.
- Physical requirements: The role is primarily sedentary in an office setting, but you may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during event preparations like AirVenture. This may also involve standing, walking, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
About EAA
The Experimental Aircraft Association is a nonprofit organization based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Founded in 1953, the group supports individuals interested in building, restoring, and flying recreational aircraft. It hosts the annual EAA AirVenture Oshkosh convention at Wittman Regional Airport. The organization manages a range of aviation activities including vintage aircraft preservation, aerobatics, and education.
