About the role#
The AirVenture Coordinator Intern supports the planning and execution of EAA events. You will assist with research, logistics, and administrative projects to ensure operations run effectively. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Research military and aircraft anniversaries to propose themes for future events.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets for hangar space, capital improvements, and event costs like fuel, lodging, and supplies.
- Design site layouts using Google Earth for areas including AirOps, camping, and the autograph tent.
- Coordinate with departments and external stakeholders to organize online auctions and manage satellite airport communications.
- Establish operational protocols for the autograph tent and update video content for the AirOps building.
- Assist the Director of Facilities with maintenance and preparation of the Hillard Building.
- Attend planning meetings and take on additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain professional integrity.
- Comfort learning and using new technologies.
- Preference for students currently enrolled in an aviation-based program.
