About the role#
DuraPlas offers a Summer 2027 internship program for students interested in the meat and food industry. You will work on-site at our facilities to gain practical experience in production and operations. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Spend your days in our facilities to learn about process flow and production capabilities.
- Gain a deeper understanding of the food industry.
- Contribute to projects and tasks that support our company goals.
- Engage with upper management, outside vendors, and customers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree in Animal, Meat, or Food Science or a related field.
- You have basic computer skills and know how to use the Microsoft Office Suite.
- You show high achievement, motivation, and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Previous meat handling or processing experience is a plus.

- This internship is based in Dallas, Fort Worth, Saginaw, and Ponder, Texas.
- The term runs during the summer of 2027.
- This role requires on-site work.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
