About the role#
This is a paid, part-time position at the Duquesne University Power Center. We are looking for students to help manage our fitness facilities during the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Clean fitness equipment and keep weight rooms organized by re-racking weights.
- Maintain all exercise areas to ensure they stay in good order.
- Greet patrons and ensure everyone swipes their DU ID for entry.
- Stay informed about Power Center programming to answer patron questions.
- Represent the facility by being kind and welcoming to everyone who visits.
- Support two Open House events throughout the academic year.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility for Federal Work-Study.
- A strong work ethic and a dependable, prompt nature.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early morning shifts.
- Current enrollment in Kinesiology or Public Health programs is preferred.
