About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under supervision to develop and test software systems and applications. The role focuses on building defined solutions, investigating and fixing bugs, and writing tests to support design, infrastructure, and technology platforms.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test software systems or applications.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to build cloud-native solutions.
- Participate in paired programming and code reviews with senior engineers to expand technical knowledge.
- Complete independent research to refine best practices and present findings to peers.
- Build defined solutions and address technical bugs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science.
- Experience building software solutions both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language with the ability to learn new languages independently.
- Familiarity with cloud-native software engineering best practices, including microservices and container-based solutions.
- Understanding of database design techniques.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles such as authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.
