About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern, you will join development teams supporting network initiatives or trading operations. You will build advanced trading, analytics, and risk applications, or complex monitoring and automation systems. Interns work on high-compute software under the guidance of experienced technologists with the goal of deploying solutions during the internship. You will participate in complex projects that contribute directly to company goals, alongside educational, professional, and social programming.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions.
- Create web applications and dashboards for MLOps and data pipeline engineering.
- Develop decoders for raw exchange data and normalizers to build instrument books.
- Build services and tools for RF network monitoring.
- Identify innovative solutions to complex problems and communicate ideas clearly.
- Conduct research using data-driven approaches and statistical analysis on large data sets.
- Collaborate with software developers, quantitative strategists, researchers, and business analysts in cross-functional teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript (Node, React, and/or Angular), C++, Ruby, C#, Go, or Java.
- Exposure to networking programming (TCP/IP), multithreaded applications, and real-time programming.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies.
