About the role#

As a Software Developer Intern, you will join a development team supporting network initiatives or trading operations. You will build advanced trading, analytics, and risk applications or monitoring and automation systems using cutting-edge technology. Under the guidance of experienced technologists, you will work on compute-intensive software with the goal of deploying your work during the internship. Your time will be balanced between complex projects, educational sessions, and professional development.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions, including web applications, MLOps dashboards, and data pipeline tools.
• Build decoders for raw exchange data and normalizers to construct order books for traded instruments.
• Develop services and tools for RF network monitoring.
• Identify innovative solutions to complex technical problems and communicate your ideas clearly to your team.
• Conduct research using data-driven approaches and statistical analysis on large data sets.
• Collaborate with software developers, quantitative market strategists, researchers, and business analysts in cross-functional teams.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related scientific discipline, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript (Node, React, and/or Angular), C++, Ruby, C#, Go, or Java.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Exposure to networking programming (TCP/IP), multithreaded applications, and real-time programming.
• Strong software development skills and a curiosity to learn and adopt new technologies.
