About the role#
Dot Foods is looking for an IT Intern to join the B2B Integrations team in Mt Sterling, Illinois. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers exposure to application development and IT operations. You will work on-site and participate in various business and personal development training events throughout your tenure.
What you'll do#
- Job-shadow within the IT department to help deliver solutions and improve functionality.
- Lead and own assigned projects within application development.
- Participate in a team project alongside other interns.
- Review, update, and track various reports.
- Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in your daily tasks.
- Problem-solve by researching, collecting data, and analyzing processes.
- Participate in activities related to Agile software development.
- Present your project information, findings, and recommendations at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.

- Location: Mt Sterling, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Minimum of 350 hours during the internship.
- Travel: Potential for minimal overnight travel; must be able to travel by all modes of transportation.
