About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in Mt Sterling, Illinois. You will work within departments such as Credit Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. The role involves gaining a practical understanding of company workflows and business processes. You will participate in intern training events and complete at least 350 hours of work during the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Train and job-shadow to learn business needs and workflows.
- Take ownership of assigned individual projects.
- Collaborate on a team project with other interns.
- Research, collect data, and analyze information to solve problems.
- Review, update, and track various reports.
- Present your findings and recommendations at the end of the internship.
- Apply lean tools to identify and remove waste in your daily work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Coursework toward a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to travel for business as needed.
