Lab (RegA) Intern

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Insulating Materials Laboratory at the Doble Engineering corporate headquarters. You will work under general supervision with a high degree of independence, contributing to testing processes within a professional laboratory environment.

What you'll do#

• Test insulating liquids and materials to determine physical, chemical, and electrical properties using ASTM, IEC, or internal methods.
• Prepare materials for laboratory examination.
• Perform data validation and instrument quality control.
• Maintain laboratory safety procedures at all times.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a college degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or a related scientific field, with a high school diploma required.
• Previous laboratory experience, whether from high school or university settings.
• Knowledge of basic chemistry and safe laboratory work habits.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds independently.

• Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
