About the role#
DMA is hiring a Transaction Tax Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Atlanta. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will support Senior Tax Consultants and Tax Managers with Sales and Use tax overpayment reviews, audit projects, and refund filings.
What you'll do#
- Assist with review preparation through tax research and data analysis.
- Locate, examine, and scan vendor invoices and other project documents.
- Handle data entry and schedule tax returns and invoices.
- Contact vendors to follow up on refunds or request information.
- Help compile client reports and refund claims.
- Travel to client locations as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- You are entering your Junior or Senior year of college.
- You have completed Intermediate Accounting.
- You possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You hold a valid driver’s license.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
