About the role#
As a Pricing & Offers Intern, you will join the DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS team to manage pricing and offer strategy. This role provides hands-on experience with high-value projects that impact company revenue and profitability. You will work on real-world tasks throughout the summer to see the direct effects of your analysis.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing structures and measure the effectiveness of offer constructs.
- Partner with internal teams to move pricing projects from initial concept to market execution.
- Identify trends in customer segmentation and find new targeting opportunities.
- Learn how to build and model complex pricing structures for long-term profitability.
- Analyze contract value, customer lifetime value, and promotional attach rates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills like VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and financial data modeling.
- Ability to interpret data and turn numbers into clear business stories.
- Experience with virtual, cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience presenting information to leadership.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay self-motivated and accountable while working in a remote environment.
Location & details#
- This is a 10-week remote internship.
- Program dates are either June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027 or June 14, 2027 to August 20, 2027.
- The role is paid at $20 per hour for undergraduates and $28 per hour for graduate students.
- Full U.S. work authorization is required.
