About the role#
As a Content Intern, you will work with the team responsible for the programming lineup across DIRECTV Satellite and Internet platforms. You will join one of four focus areas: Content Strategy and Development, Content Contracts and Compliance, Content and Programming, or Content Development. This is a full-time, paid, 10-week summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Analyze channel performance, marketing, and competition.
- Conduct benchmarking and research to support business initiatives.
- Assist with the implementation of new database software and AI integration.
- Review contracts and summarize key findings.
- Conceptualize new functionalities to improve content engagement and discovery.
- Support data audits, migration, and reporting automation.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments.
- Familiarity with using Artificial Intelligence LLMs for research and analysis.
- Full U.S. work authorization.
- We welcome students from majors including Computer Science, Media Studies, and Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
- The program runs for 10 weeks, with start dates on June 7, 2027, or June 14, 2027.
- Compensation is $20 per hour for undergraduates and $28 per hour for graduate students.
