About the role#
This 10-week paid internship provides an opportunity to work alongside in-house counsel at DIRECTV. You will gain insight into the daily responsibilities of an attorney within a video content distribution company. The program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Draft memoranda across practice areas including Intellectual Property, Litigation, and Regulatory affairs.
- Work on content distribution agreements.
- Attend depositions and hearings.
- Conduct legal research.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as at least a first-year student at an ABA-accredited law school in good academic standing.
- Full U.S. work authorization now and in the future.
- Strong professional judgment and work ethic.
- An interest in the entertainment industry.
Location & details#
- The role is primarily remote with potential for on-site work in El Segundo, California.
- This is a full-time position.
- Compensation is $48 per hour.
