About the role#

This position serves as a teaching assistant for the PSY-101 course under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Hawk. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role for the Summer 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Grade student assignments and coursework.
• Manage the Moodle course platform, including data entry and grade management.
• Assist the instructor with course-related research and administrative tasks.
• Complete additional assignments as required.
• Track and report all hours worked accurately.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Successful completion of PSY-101 with a grade of B or better.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Good Academic Standing, meaning you are not currently on Academic Warning.
• Flexible time management skills.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the state of Washington to perform this work.
• Term: May 11, 2026 – August 4, 2026.
• Hours: 10 hours per week. Evening and weekend availability may be required.
• Scheduling: You may not work during any time when you have a scheduled class, even if a class is canceled or ends early.
• Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on the number of terms previously worked at DigiPen.
