About the role#

This summer Teaching Assistant position supports the instructor in planning and preparing for the Dragon Chorus. This role is open to currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology who are in good academic standing and reside in the State of Washington.

What you'll do#

• Assist the instructor with planning and preparation for the Dragon Chorus.
• Provide support for stage management and choir management tasks.
• Track and report all hours worked in a timely manner.
• Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting up to 25 lbs, with a work environment that is generally 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.

What you'll need#

• Fluency in reading music for choir and orchestral instruments.
• Proficiency in music engraving software for writing and arranging scores.
• Skills in piano, voice performance, and conducting are preferred.
• Ability to maintain timely attendance.
• Current enrollment as a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Term: Summer 2026 (June 15 – August 28, 2026).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Hours: 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at the institution.
