DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for MAT-340 (Bede) during the Summer 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in facilitating the course, providing mentorship to students, and assisting with administrative and academic tasks. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 4 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assessments, including quizzes, midterms, and finals, while providing constructive feedback.
- Assist students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Answer student questions regarding homework and course material.
- Meet with students online if required.
- Assist the instructor with classroom operations, such as equipment setup or facilitating presentations.
- Submit attendance sheets and track time worked.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback.
What you'll need#
- Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Must have successfully completed MAT-340 with a grade of B or better.
- Proven proficiency with the course material and strong communication skills.
- A positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others succeed.
- Ability to act as a mentor and interact with students on an instructional level.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Maintain good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

- Location: Redmond, Washington, USA. You must reside within the State of Washington to perform this work.
- Term: May 4 – July 31, 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Note: Students are not permitted to work during any time they have a scheduled class.
