DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for MAT-250 (Toth) for the Summer 2026 term. This role supports the instructor and students by providing instructional assistance and maintaining grading records. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen, reside within the State of Washington, and maintain good academic standing.
What you'll do#
- Grade student exams and assignments, ensuring consistency, clarity, and timely delivery.
- Assist students in labs and during published office hours, including online sessions if required.
- Upload grades to Moodle.
- Track and report hours worked accurately.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of MAT-250 with a B or better.
- Proven proficiency with the course material.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude toward learning and a commitment to helping fellow students succeed.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with the role requiring approximately 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2026 (May 4 – July 31, 2026).
- Hours: 4 hours per week.
- Compensation: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, depending on the number of terms worked at DigiPen.
- Eligibility: Open to Mathematics, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering majors. Students may not work during scheduled class times.
