About the role#

This is a student teaching assistant position for the MAT-140 course during the Summer 2026 term. This role is open to currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology who have successfully completed the course. The position requires on-site work in Redmond, Washington, and students must reside within the state.

What you'll do#

• Grade student exams and upload results to Moodle.
• Assist students in labs and during published office hours.
• Meet with students online if required.
• Maintain consistency and clarity in grading and ensure the timely delivery of reports.
• Track and report hours worked accurately.

What you'll need#

• Successful completion of MAT-140 (ideally with a grade of B or better).
• Proven proficiency with the course material.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to the success of fellow students.
• Current standing as a matriculated student at DigiPen with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, WA (On-site).
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 4 – July 31, 2026).
• Hours: 4 hours per week.
• Compensation: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, depending on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
• Note: Students may not work during any time they have a scheduled class.
