Student TA – DES-335 (Holcomb), Su26

About the role#

DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for DES-335 (Holcomb) during the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington, requiring approximately 10 hours of work per week. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and must have completed DES-335 with a grade of B or better. Students are not permitted to work during hours when they have scheduled classes.

What you'll do#

• Assist the instructor in the classroom with equipment setup and operation.
• Facilitate student presentations and answer student questions during labs.
• Perform pre-grading of assessments and submit attendance sheets.
• Provide grading support outside of the classroom.
• Meet regularly with the instructor for performance feedback and duty adjustments.
• Meet with students outside of class hours to answer questions as needed.

• Comfort interacting with peers in a mentorship capacity.
• Ability to arrive on time and maintain focus during work hours.
• Accountability for tracking and reporting all hours worked.

• Eligibility: Must reside in Washington state. Remote work outside of Washington is not permitted.
