DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for DES-205-B Game History (Savage) for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in delivering course content, managing classroom logistics, and mentoring students. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Candidates should have completed DES-205 with a grade of B or better.
What you'll do#
- Assist with room setup and equipment operation at the start and end of class.
- Consult with the instructor on course content, assignments, and student progression.
- Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their work and answer questions about lecture or lab material.
- Liaise with IT for technical support and manage necessary supplies.
- Assist students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Track and report hours worked accurately.

Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31 – December 4, 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 5 - 10 hours per week.
- Required Attendance: Tuesdays (12:00–1:20 p.m.) and Fridays (12:30–2:20 p.m.).
- Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on experience at DigiPen.
