DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for CS-380 (Rabin) for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington, requiring approximately 10 hours of work per week. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and lab reports using provided guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and ensure timely delivery of graded assignments.
- Upload grades onto Moodle.
- Assist students during labs and published office hours.
- Support the instructor with classroom tasks, such as equipment setup or facilitating presentations.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback.
- Track and report hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of CS-380 with a grade of B or better.
- Proven proficiency with the course material.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A reliable, punctual, and helpful approach toward supporting fellow students.
- Ability to interact with students on an instructional level as a mentor.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. Employees must reside within the state of Washington.
- Term: May 29, 2026 – July 28, 2026.
- Compensation: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, based on prior terms worked at DigiPen.
- Scheduling: Students are not permitted to work during any time they have a scheduled class.
