DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for CS-280 (Cronk) for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington. The role requires 5 to 10 hours of work per week between May 11 and August 5, 2026. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and must have passed CS-280 with a grade of B or better. Students must reside within the State of Washington.
What you'll do#
- Hold two office hours each week to assist students with homework.
- Meet with students for appointments either in person or via Teams.
- Track and report all hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with the CS-280 course material.
- Ability to mentor other students and interact at an instructional level.
- A positive attitude toward learning and a commitment to helping others succeed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional critiques.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Readiness to focus entirely on work duties during scheduled hours.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, WA (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2026 (May 11 – August 5, 2026).
- Wage: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Student employees may not work during any time they are scheduled for a class.
