DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for CS-260 Computer Networks I (Rasa) for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington, requiring up to 10 hours of work per week. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen in good academic standing and must reside within the State of Washington.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor in the classroom with equipment setup, operation, and facilitating student presentations.
- Grade student work, including lab reports, using provided guidelines and upload grades to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on assignments.
- Assist students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Maintain equipment and assist with the setup and execution of course-related events.
- Meet regularly with the instructor for performance feedback and duty coordination.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of CS-260 with a B or better.
- Proven proficiency with course material, specifically Socket Programming and C/C++.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional critique.
- A reliable and punctual nature, with a commitment to student success.
- Ability to work independently and interact with students as a mentor.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

- Location: Redmond, Washington, United States.
- Term: May 11 – July 31, 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Wage: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Students are not permitted to work during scheduled class times.
