About the role#

This Teaching Assistant position supports the CS-230 course instructed by Doug Schilling during the Summer 2026 term. The role involves assisting the instructor with academic tasks, providing tutoring to students, and grading assignments. This is a part-time, on-site position requiring 3 to 5 hours of work per week.

What you'll do#

• Grade student work in a timely manner.
• Provide student tutoring during class sessions on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
• Offer student tutoring outside of standard Academic Support Lab hours.
• Assist the instructor with various academic tasks as needed.
• Track and report hours worked.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Good Academic Standing (not on Academic Warning).
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Successful completion of CS-230 with a grade of B or better.

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 11 – July 31, 2026).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at the institution.
• Note: Students must reside within the state of Washington and are not permitted to work during scheduled class times.
