This position is for a Student Teaching Assistant for the CG-2001 3D Digital Art course during the Summer 2026 term. The role requires a commitment of 9 hours per week, consisting of 3 hours of in-person class time and 6 hours of hybrid lab time. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology and reside within the State of Washington.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor with academic tasks during and outside of class.
- Support students by answering questions and helping them understand assignment requirements.
- Review student work and Maya scenes to diagnose issues and provide clear recommendations.
- Monitor class sessions and chat, providing prompt responses to student questions.
- Share your Maya screen during lab hours to demonstrate techniques.
- Escalate complex CG blocking issues to the instructor.
- Track and report hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of CG-2001 with a grade of B or higher.
- Proven proficiency with the course material and comfort with multiple aspects of the 3D modeling workflow.
- Willingness and patience to support students in acquiring CG proficiency.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to the success of fellow students.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

- Work Modality: On-site and hybrid.
- Term: Summer 2026 (May 13 – July 24, 2026).
- Hours: 9 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position.
