This position supports human-subjects research within the Psychology department. The role involves managing lab operations, facilitating study protocols, and assisting with background research tasks. This is a Federal Work Study (FWS) position for currently enrolled DigiPen students.
What you'll do#
- Set up lab spaces and guide participants through established study protocols.
- Maintain accurate research records and handle participant compensation.
- Consolidate, organize, and analyze raw data.
- Conduct literature searches and catalog academic articles.
- Assist in the preparation of literature reviews and IRB applications.
- Develop study materials and stimuli as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study with an accepted FWS award.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in R for data analysis and Python is preferred.
- Prior experience with literature reviews or data collection is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs, with a work environment requiring approximately 80% sitting and 20% walking or standing.

- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2026 (May 4 – May 31, 2026).
- Commitment: 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $18.25 per hour.
