About the role#

This position provides technical support for the campus infrastructure at DigiPen Institute of Technology. You will work directly with Client Services Administrators to maintain the operational stability of workstations in labs and classrooms. This role is open exclusively to current students who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) and reside in Washington state.

What you'll do#

• Support workstations located in labs and classrooms.
• Assist in the resolution of Help Desk tickets.
• Help set up and repair computer equipment and related devices.
• Respond to incoming requests for assistance via phone and email.
• Track and report hours worked accurately.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Eligibility for Federal Work Study with an accepted award.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and Windows 7/10 support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify immediate actions needed.
• A client-focused approach to responding to immediate needs.
• Introductory troubleshooting skills, including the ability to guide users to appropriate resources.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, and fine finger dexterity.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington (On-site).
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 11 – August 28, 2026).
• Hours: 20–30 hours per week.
• Schedule: Evenings and weekends may be required. Students may not work during scheduled class times.
