About the role#

This position serves as a Front Desk Representative for the Summer 2026 term. The role supports full-time staff by providing coverage during breaks and assisting with ad hoc projects. This is an on-site position based in Redmond, Washington, open only to students eligible for Federal Work Study (FWSA).

What you'll do#

• Greet visitors, students, faculty, and staff with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Inform students about available campus resources, including counseling, career services, finance services, and academic support.
• Ensure visitors adhere to campus security procedures, such as signing in or checking IDs.
• Handle sensitive information and communications with discretion, maintaining compliance with campus privacy policies like FERPA.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for the campus community.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current, matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• A positive, friendly, reliable, and punctual demeanor.
• Ability to work independently.
• Eligibility for Federal Work Study with an accepted FWS award.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 11 – August 21, 2026).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Minimum of 8 hours per week, dependent on class schedule. Note: Students are not permitted to work during any time they are scheduled for class.
• Eligibility: Applicants must reside within the State of Washington.
