Student Assistant – Fine Arts Studio Manager, S26

About the role#

The Fine Arts Studio Manager role is a part-time student position for the Winter 2026 term. This role requires working independently to maintain studio organization and inventory standards. Duties must be performed when classrooms are unoccupied, and you must be able to work with minimal on-site supervision.

What you'll do#

• Perform weekly inventory checks in each room against the inventory list and organize items accordingly.
• Manage and organize shelving and storage areas.
• Collect and transfer personal items left in studios to the Lost & Found.
• Maintain weekly communication with your overseer.
• Track and report your hours worked.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology, ideally with a major in Art.
• Ability to safely lift and move studio equipment, including lifting up to 40 lbs, with the judgment to ask for assistance when needed.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with students and instructors.
• A positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to assist others.
• Ability to independently coordinate access to studios and manage your schedule effectively.
• Residency within the State of Washington.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Winter 2026 (January 28 – April 30, 2026).
• Hours: 2–4 hours per week.
• Compensation: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, based on prior terms worked at DigiPen.
• Eligibility: Students must maintain good academic standing (minimum 2.5 GPA) and cannot work during scheduled class times.
