About the role#

Bytes Cafe & Lounge is seeking student team members to support food service operations and maintain a welcoming environment for the campus community. This position involves direct customer service, food preparation assistance, and store maintenance. Employment is scheduled from September 2, 2025, through August 28, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Serve hot food to students and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized food line and student store.
• Process customer orders using POS terminals.
• Restock the student store with snacks, drinks, and other inventory.
• Engage guests with a friendly and professional attitude.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current, matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Maintain Good Academic Standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Washington State food handler's card within the first week of employment.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington, USA.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week. Students may not work during scheduled class times.
• Compensation: $17.25 per hour, plus one meal per shift.
• Additional Support: Uniforms, PPE (including non-slip shoes), and food handler's card costs are provided by the institution.
