    About the role#

    As a Manufacturing Test Engineering Intern, you will design, develop, and maintain test systems to ensure our robotic products meet manufacturing and quality standards. You will work with manufacturing, hardware design, controls, and quality teams to improve test coverage and optimize production workflows. This role provides hands-on experience with robotics hardware, electronics testing, data acquisition, and system validation on the production floor.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, implement, and validate automated and manual test systems for robotic subsystems.
    • Develop and maintain hardware and software tools used for production testing.
    • Perform root cause analysis on test failures and work with engineers to drive corrective actions.
    • Document test procedures, system configurations, and calibration steps.
    • Deploy and troubleshoot test stations on the production floor.
    • Train personnel on system-level testing and the operation of automated testers.
    • Collect, analyze, and report test data to track manufacturing performance.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
    • Understanding of electronics fundamentals, test instrumentation, and debugging practices.
    • Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Structured Text, Ladder Logic, or Function Block Diagrams.
    • Familiarity with data acquisition systems, sensors, or embedded systems testing.
    • Experience with electrical and mechanical hardware bring-up, fixture design, or test automation is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical work.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
