About the role#
Dewberry is seeking an Environmental Science Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Fairfax, Virginia. This full-time, paid internship allows students to apply academic knowledge to professional environmental projects while working alongside a team of experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff with natural resource inventory and analysis tasks.
- Conduct wetland delineation in the field.
- Participate in project permitting and mitigation processes.
- Engage in professional development workshops, networking events, and a summer-long group project.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
