About the role#
This is an off-campus Federal Work Study position for a Recruitment & Admissions Intern based in Atlanta. You will support the outreach and enrollment process by managing candidate communications and tracking recruitment data. This role requires a self-directed individual who can work cross-functionally to help meet admissions goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the full lifecycle of the outreach and admissions process.
- Communicate with prospective students to build rapport and trust.
- Organize recruitment and enrollment data while designing reports to measure progress.
- Collaborate with the local Digital Marketing Manager to run ads and update collateral materials.
- Implement retention activities for alumni populations.
- Coordinate class kickoffs and provide telephone coverage.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Suggest improvements and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Site Director.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in a business, IT, or related degree program.
- Minimum of six credits per semester with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Federal Work Study (FWS) fund eligibility.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Entry-level experience with Google Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn about business needs, talent sourcing, and IT concepts.
- Experience with social media marketing is a plus.
- A self-directed and motivated approach to work.
