About the role#
Deep Infra Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help build and deploy open AI models at scale. You will work alongside our engineering team to design, test, and maintain inference solutions. This is a full-time, paid position focused on practical experience with high-performance systems.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test inference solutions for AI models.
- Implement and optimize models using Python, C++, CUDA, and NCCL.
- Monitor and maintain the live service.
- Handle feature development, bug fixes, and code reviews.
- Join daily stand-ups and design discussions.
- Stay current with AI and machine learning advancements.
- Experiment with new ideas and ship production code.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in Python, including libraries like NumPy, pandas, SciPy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with AI models, specifically Transformers and Diffusers.
- Experience with Git and agile development.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and solve problems.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
