About the role#
Deep Infra Inc. is looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Palo Alto. You will work alongside our engineers to design, develop, and deploy open AI models at scale. This role focuses on building efficient software systems and gaining hands-on experience with AI infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and test inference solutions for AI models.
- Implement and optimize models using Python, C++, CUDA, and NCCL.
- Monitor and maintain our live service.
- Handle feature development, bug fixing, and code reviews to maintain software quality.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and design discussions.
- Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning.
- Ship new features and experiment with new ideas.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with AI models, specifically Transformers and Diffusers.
- Experience with Git and agile development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
