About the role#
Dee Zee, Inc. is looking for an Environmental & Sustainability Intern to help with compliance initiatives and ESG goals. You will work in a manufacturing environment and gain experience with ISO 14001 systems, sustainability reporting, and environmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
- Collect data and documentation to support environmental reporting.
- Prepare information for platforms like CDP, EcoVadis, and MFG 2030.
- Help write the Corporate Sustainability Report.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and EHS activities like inspections or incident investigations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Public Health, Environmental Science, or Environmental Health.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- An interest in sustainability, ESG reporting, or environmental compliance.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, coolant, mist, variable temperatures, and elevated noise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
