Sonographer Student- 2027 Graduates

About the role#

This position is for students graduating in 2027 who are enrolled in an accredited medical sonography program. You will gain hands-on experience by performing sonography exams under the direct supervision of a diagnostic medical sonographer, working 16 hours per two-week pay period. This role is designed to accommodate your academic schedule.

What you'll do#

• Perform two-dimensional and M-mode sonography exams with color flow Doppler on adult and pediatric patients.
• Conduct general and vascular sonography exams in the ultrasound area or patient rooms.
• Assist physicians and sonographers with invasive procedures, including operating the ultrasound unit and collecting necessary data.
• Perform measurements and produce diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation.
• Assist with treadmill studies under the supervision of a technician.
• Participate in departmental or hospital performance improvement teams.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited school for medical sonographers.
• Ability to work at least 16 hours per two-week pay period.
• Capability to assimilate clinical data, perform accurate measurements, and capture diagnostic-quality images.
