The Patient Intake Specialist I is a PRN position designed for current high school students. This role serves as an ambassador for the hospital, ensuring that patients are welcomed into a professional and respectful environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet and register patients upon arrival.
- Collect payments according to hospital procedures.
- Direct and escort patients as needed.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with State and Federal regulations and hospital policies.
What you'll need#
- Must be currently enrolled in high school.
- A demonstrated interest in the healthcare industry, including the revenue cycle and insurance processes.
- Ability to effectively greet and register patients.
Location & details#
- Location: Evansville, Indiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: PRN, with rotating weekends and holidays required.
