About the role#
We are looking for a Video Editing and Studio Assistant Intern to help craft story-driven edits that capture the essence of our events. You will work closely with our creative team to shape narratives, refine pacing, and turn live event footage into digital experiences. This role involves both post-production editing and on-site production support.
What you'll do#
- Organize and manage raw footage from events to keep the post-production workflow smooth.
- Edit high-energy videos for social media, marketing, and brand storytelling.
- Capture footage at events and work with the team to frame immersive shots.
- Contribute ideas for music selection, pacing, and visual effects.
- Assemble rough cuts, cut down interviews, and source archival footage.
- Apply color correction, audio balancing, and motion graphics.
- Monitor current video trends and social media best practices.
What you'll need#
- Strong eye for detail and rhythm as a visual storyteller.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with cinematography and shooting high-quality footage.
- Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and digital content best practices.
- Proactive and organized approach to collaboration.
- Ability to accept direction and feedback while contributing your own creative perspective.
- Experience with After Effects, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or cinema cameras is preferred.
