About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience within the purchasing department. You will gain exposure to the homebuilding process through departmental rotations, project work, and field observations. The program is designed to help you understand company operations while exploring potential career paths.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in the office or at field locations and jobsites.
- Assist with research, reporting, and administrative coordination.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how different areas support the business.
- Participate in training programs and meetings to build your professional knowledge.
- Maintain professional and ethical conduct in all business interactions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or recent graduation.
- Coursework or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to work overtime and travel, including occasional overnight trips.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree are also eligible to apply.
