About the role#
The Construction Intern program offers hands-on experience in the homebuilding process. You will work within a primary department or functional area to gain professional development. The role involves office and field-based activities, jobsite observation, and exposure to various business functions. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations across departments, field locations, or jobsites.
- Assist with research, reporting, administrative tasks, and project coordination.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand the customer experience.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Explore potential career paths within the company.
- Conduct business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Work overtime or travel for business needs when required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university as an incoming junior or senior, or recent graduation.
- Coursework or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- Interest in homebuilding, financial services, land development, or corporate operations.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments, including offices and jobsites.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree are also welcome to apply.
