About the role#
The Construction Intern program provides students with hands-on experience and professional development. You will gain exposure to the homebuilding process through departmental rotations, project work, and field-based activities. This role is designed to help you explore career paths within the company and prepare for future full-time employment.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations across departments, offices, or jobsites.
- Assist with research, reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination efforts.
- Learn industry terminology, business systems, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Conduct business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Travel as needed, including occasional overnight trips, and work overtime when required.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
- Pursuing a degree in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.
- Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to various work environments, including office, field, or jobsite settings.

- Location: Mason, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Work modality includes on-site, hybrid, and remote options depending on the assignment.
