About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and professional development within the homebuilding process. You will work within a primary department to gain exposure to daily operations, business systems, and company policies. The program includes departmental rotations, project work, research, and jobsite observation to help you explore career paths within the company.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in your assigned office, field location, or jobsite.
- Assist with projects, reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination efforts.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how different areas support business operations.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and rotations to build your professional knowledge.
- Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Work overtime or travel for business needs as required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university as a junior or senior, or recent graduation.
- Coursework or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments, including office or field settings.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.

- Location: Westerville, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This role supports on-site, remote, and hybrid work depending on the specific assignment.
- Status: This is a full-time, paid internship.
