About the role#
The Construction Intern program provides students with hands-on experience and professional development. You will gain exposure to the homebuilding and homebuying process through direct involvement in daily operations. Interns work within a primary department and participate in rotations, project work, research, and jobsite observations.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations at your assigned office, field location, or jobsite.
- Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and department-specific projects.
- Learn industry terminology, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand business operations.
- Participate in meetings, training programs, and departmental rotations.
- Explore potential career paths within the company.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all business interactions.
- Work overtime or travel for business needs when required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year university as a junior or senior, or recent graduation.
- Coursework or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Operations Management, Real Estate, or Computer Science.
- A strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work independently or within a team and adapt to different work environments.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree are eligible to apply.
