Construction Intern

About the role#

This Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience within the construction division. You will gain exposure to the homebuilding process through a mix of office and field-based activities. The program focuses on professional development, allowing you to explore career paths within the company while contributing to daily operations.

What you'll do#

• Support daily operations at the jobsite, office, or field location.
• Assist with projects, research, reporting, and administrative coordination.
• Learn industry terminology, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand business operations.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
• Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner.
• Travel as required, including occasional overnight trips, and work overtime when necessary.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited four-year university as an incoming junior or senior, or recent graduation.
• Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
• Interest in homebuilding, financial services, land development, or corporate operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work both independently and in a team.
• Ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Candidates pursuing an advanced degree are also eligible to apply.
