About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the homebuilding process. You will work within a primary department to gain professional development and exposure to various business functions. The program includes departmental rotations, project work, and jobsite observations to help you explore career paths within the company.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations across departments, field locations, or jobsites.
- Assist with research, reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination projects.
- Learn industry terminology, business systems, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and rotations.
- Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Travel as needed, including occasional overnight trips.
- Work overtime when required by business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or recent graduation.
- Degree or coursework related to your assigned area, such as Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- Interest in learning about homebuilding, financial services, land development, or corporate operations.
- Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to different work settings, including office and field environments.
